Sure socialism is bad..why should I pay for your troubles and why should you pay for mine. Why should I pay for public fire department and police when they are wasting money on putting out someone else's troubles.Socialism is bad.

State takes away the liberty from the people-godofreudsonSure, Apprantly it appears that we the people elect some people to run a state or a government. Are you serious ? Meaning we deliberately elect people to take away our own liberties ?

Well, to explain the foundations of the principles in which i believe would take much time. If you want, you can read about the natural philosofers such as locke and rothbard.. that would clear things up.Anyway, simolifying: State takes away the liberty from the people. Obama is a socialist = state lover... not that republicans aren't either... it's just that they are less socialists than democrats. Then... they take away more liberties than republicans do.... especially obama.

"If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it's free"-P.J. O'Rourke Would the current health care system even allow you to live long enough to see the day when it becomes free like in all the other developed nations ?

And naturally, CSPI - a Rockefeller Foundation front organization - has announced its support of the appointment of Gupta - a CFR member - to be Surgeon-General. CSPI's just following the NWO script.

Also, it's pretty embarrassing that he has to even attempt to bring Bush into this debate (we can't even secure a road to an airport blah blah blah). Why does Moore still have any credibility? Are there that many angry people who think that shouting about Bush makes for a credible argument? I'm sorry, but being against Bush and having some vague sense of liberal or progressive values does not make you liberal or progressive. But it can make you look pretty foolish.

moore's arguments play to the lowest common denominator. consistently. i respect obama for this selection.

People, the core issue is so simple your not seeing it.Why do insurance companies own the largest, tallest buildings?Capitalism runs on profit. Profit is a percentage of margin. Why should any American's ability to receive proper healthcare be based on a publicly traded company's margin?Remove the insurance assholes from the transaction and the cost of healthcare would drop ~30%. It would then be affordable for many more of those who need it most.

calgonakis So you would rather have an average middle-class Canadian family pay thirteen thousand dollars (just like in the US) out of pocket for the entire year for health insurance ?Sure, try selling that idea to an average middle-class Canadian family. I wont be surprised if they hurl shoes at you just like someone did to Bush last month in Iraq.
